PPP Senator Saleem Mandviwalla said, "PML-N is celebrating on baseless, false and unrealistic reports of the economy. People are being fooled by showing absurd reports. The ruling party is masking the economic realities of the country through propaganda."
Senator Saleem Mandviwalla said, "Official figures show that during PMLN government, regime economic conditions became worse for 40 percent of the people and 45 percent have no change in their lives, despite these facts; the rulers are making false claims of economic development."
Saleem Mandviwalla said, "The current government has mortgaged the country's strategic assets. During the rule of PML-N government foreign loans have exceeded $ 74 billion. It is feared that the country's national debt will cross $110 billion in 2020. Today every Pakistani is indebted to Rs 120,000. Who is going to repay this foreign loan? Is it an economic turnaround?" He questioned.
He said, "Pakistan has to repay $15 b foreign debt next year. The PML-N government should answer this before making the country an "Asian Tiger"."
Senator said, "The economic reality is that today's formers are protesting against the Federal Government."
Saleem Mandviwalla said, "The economic reality of the government today, is that the country's trade deficit has touched $30. Exports are historically down and the exporters are asking for their tax returns."
Saleem Mandviwalla said, "The economic reality of the PML-N is that, foreign direct investment has gone down; if something good was to happen in the economy, it should have gone upward. Ministers should get out of a utopian world and face the realities in Pakistan.-PR
