Pakistan, Romania enjoy excellent relations: envoy

Nicolae Goia Ambassador of Romania, a guest speaker at a ceremony of the Rotary Club Islamabad Metropolitan has stated that Romania and Pakistan had all along enjoyed excellent friendly relations. He informed the gathering that Romania was fastest growing economy in Europe and there was a great potential for improving bilateral trade between two countries.
Ambassador Nicolia Goia further stated that there were 50,000 Muslims living in Romania who were fully integrated into the Romanian society and were enjoying full citizen rights. The Deputy Prime Minister of Romania is a Muslim lady. There was no Islamophobia and there were no issues relating to refugees. He further stated that under the current leadership Romania had emerged as a success story against corruption.
Barrister Adil Jamal, President Rotary Club Islamabad Metropolitan, Shaukat Muqadam and past President Irshad Ullah Khan also briefly addressed the gathering. President Adil Jamal stated that Rotary Club was a good forum for serving the humanity. Rotary Club Islamabad Metropolitan was currently supporting Centre for Speech and Hearing Mardan, House of Light School Islamabad and Ibn-e-Sina Physiotherapy Centre Islamabad.-PR
