DHA Medical Centre establishes free hepatitis vaccination camp
Hepatitis 'B' is a lethal liver attacking virus in blood which is extremely dangerous for human health/life. Hepatitis 'B' Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent the injurious infection. DHA Medical Centre established three days free Hepatitis 'B' Vaccination Camp at three different places for the employees and residents of DHA.
The camps were established at DHA Head Office, DHA Medical Centre and Defence Authority Degree College Campus. GSK Energix vaccines were administered to the people visiting the camp under supervision of DHA doctors and expert paramedical staff.
The shots in the vaccination series (3 shots at different times) provide protection against infection for at least 20 years. Administrator DHA Brigadier Shahid Hassan Ali said that DHA attaches utmost importance to the welfare and wellbeing of the public and accords highest priority to the promotion of healthcare facilities for the community as its fundamental socio-corporate obligation. He added that health and vitality of people is instrumental in making a healthy, progressive and enlightened society. Administrator appreciated the erstwhile efforts of the team of DHA doctors and paramedical staff in efficiently organizing the Vaccination Camps. A large number of people visited the camps and got them vaccinated. Free Vaccination Camps will be established at all Defence Authority Clubs next week.-PR
