Today marks a significant achievement in the lifespan of FFBL and I am privileged to have joined this reputable organisation. Within a short span of time that I have spent here, I have witnessed the exceptional hard work and dedication of my colleagues towards achieving our set goals. The relentless efforts of FPCL team has enabled the project to have commenced its operations well before stipulated timeframe. On behalf of the company, I place on record, our deep appreciation to the clients, vendors, investors and bankers for their continuous support and help.
Let me take this opportunity to thank Lieutenant General Haroon Aslam HI(M)SBt (Retd), whose support vision and direction must be lauded, as it was under his guidance that we diversified from the petro-chemical to Energy sector. Speaking from personal experience, I know that translating the vision into action is a tremendous challenge. It is a bold move that will pay off dividends not only directly benefiting FFBL but will significantly contribute towards the national grid. We feel proud to be bolstering the national economy. I would like to thank Fauji Foundation for believing in our dreams and unequivocal support from the leadership while the Company evolved into multiple business entities.
FFBL has been able to go beyond just its routine work, we have been living our dreams by making a huge contribution towards reshaping peoples' lives. It is this purpose that drives us to strive hard to achieve excellence. It gives me immense pleasure that FPCL as an organisation is contributing to uplifting the national economy in power sector.
