Removal of corrupt officials demanded

Elders from Khawga Khel tribe of Landi Kotal, Khyber Agency have alleged the political Moharar and Tehsildar for forcibly collecting bribe from them, and involving in corruption, and warned to start protest movement, if the corrupt officials didn't remove from service within a week.
Addressing at a press conference at press club on Monday, Elder of Qaumi Committee for Khawga Khel tribe, Barkatullah Shinwari said that political moharar, Ali Raza Mohmand with accomplice of tehsildar Irshad Mohmand had forcibly collected Rs 34,000 per truck as illegal tax at Torkham, which was complete unjust with transporters community. He added that they had regularly payout Rs 1,300 as toll-plaza tax.
Flanked by elders Mohammad Daud, Zar Wali Shinwari, Mustaqeem and others, he said the situation was created immense panic and unrest among people of the tribe. Owing to which, he added the dues of Torkham taxi stand and NLC were blocked, that inflicted huge financial losses to Khawga Khel tribe. The elders alleged both officials are involved in bribe and corruption, and accumulated billions of rupees through illegal way.
