A four-member delegation of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Pakistan led by Dr Farooq Sattar called on Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair at Governor House on Saturday. Other members of the delegation included Amir Khan, Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan and Faisal Sabzwari. Political activities matter regarding development projects and other matters of common interests were discussed during the meeting.
Governor Sindh while talking on the occasion said that his doors were open to each and everyone and he would engage with all political forces. Active consultation would also be held with all stake holders to ensure sustainable peace in the province, he added
Zubair said that he has come to Sindh to cooperate rather than compile with any one so as to resolve the grievances of people of Sindh. Each and every political party must be allowed to continue their political activities, he added.
He said that Karachi was the economic hub of Pakistan and any activity in this city has a direct impact on the economy of Karachi. Efforts are needed to make Karachi a Prominent destination globally, for which it has but immense potential, he added.
