TEVTA starts free of cost short courses

Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) has started free of cost short courses at Government Institute of Emerging Technologies Township including Industrial Stitching Machine operator (Denim), Microsoft Certification, Professional cook and Chinese language courses.
According to the vision of the Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, TEVTA Punjab has taken the said initiative to train unemployed youth in demand driven courses.
Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh was addressing a meeting here Thursday at TEVTA secretariat.
Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that Turkish government has provided the latest machinery for industrial stitching machine operator (Denim) course which will helpful to impart international level training facilities to trainees.
Our pass outs will easily get job opportunities in national and multi-national organisations.
Demand of professionals in Information Technology and culinary sector is increasing in the National and International markets. To meet with the requirements of market, TEVTA Punjab has offered these demand driven courses so that the trained manpower should be available for these professions.
TEVTA is also extending Rs 1000 monthly stipend to trainees.
Chairperson TEVTA further said that Chinese language course has also been offered at the said Institute to provide learning opportunities.
Command in Chinese Language course will also be beneficial to get jobs with Chinese investors here in Pakistan.
