Qatari prince's letters cannot justify earnings of Sharif family: Aitzaz Ahsan
Senator Aitzaz Ahsan said on Monday that letters from Qatari prince cannot justify earnings of Sharif family.
"Letters from Qatar cannot be treated as a proof of Mian Sharif's business," he added.
Talking to media outside the Lahore High Court, he termed it a simply way of providing cover to the money laundering by Sharif family. It further suggests that black money can easily be made white by presenting a letter of a prince from outside Pakistan.
He also expressed his wonders over exchange of gifts among Sharif family and added that the question of money laundering would remain unresolved until inspection of all accounts of Sharif family takes place.
He said the trail of investment in Qatar is yet to be determined, as no one would accept a statement that money was transferred to Qatar on donkeys.
He termed the Panama case as a solid one, saying that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has admitted that he has been doing business in the past.
