International brotherhood can heal the bleeding wounds of poverty, disease and obscurantism, said Sami Rahman, a Malaysian industrialist who is travelling across the globe on his 1300cc BMW Motorcycle with the help of Yalla Charity Club and Riders Club.
On his arrival at Faisalabad, he was received by Aslam Saeed of Coral Lions Club who managed his stay and visit to various local welfare and charity organisations. During his visit to Farrukh Foundation at Tariq Abad, he appreciated the contribution of this organisation and announced to adopt one child for the provision of artificial limb. He also announces a charity of 400 dollars for this organisation. Sami Rahman also visited Zee Solutions IT Centre. This organisation is offering 100 scholarships to the deserving students. Sami also visited Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry where he was received by Secretary General Abid Masood who appreciated his mission for the welfare of the humanity. Sami also visited FIEDMC where he was briefed about CPEC. Sami also visited a 100-year-old government MC Model School where he distributed charity of 5,000 dollars. Sami Rahman said that the members of Yalla Club are regularly conducting international tours with an objective to distribute charity among the down trodden.
He said that earlier the tourists from Malaysia were following the route from Lahore to Multan but now, he has decided that all visitors belong to his club will also pay a visit to Faisalabad. He said that he had started his journey from 13 January from Malaysia city of Johor Bahru. Then he visited Thailand, Myanmar and India before entering into Pakistan on January 25 through Wagha Border.
He said that he has come straight from Lahore to Faisalabad and from here he will visit Multan, Karachi, Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia where he will perform Umrah. Afterwards, he will go to Palestine where he will visit the Palestinians camps and distribute charity.
He said that in his second phase to world tour, he will start his journey for Europe from Alexandria.
