Parachinar blast: Compensation cheques distributed among victims' families
A ceremony was held to distribute compensation cheques among families of Parachinar blast victims in Kurram Agency on Monday. The Political Agent Kurram Agency, Shahid Ali Khan distributed cheques among the heirs of the martyred of the Parachinar blast, that left more than 22 people killed, and hundreds of injured.
According to details, the Kurram Agency political administration has distributed compensation amount worth Rs 400,000 each among the heirs of the Parachinar Sabzi Mandi suicide blast victims.
Kurram Agency Political Agent Shahid Ali Khan said that the administration distributed cheques worth Rs 400, 000 each among the families of 22 persons who were killed in the blast on January 21.
He said the agency political administration gave Rs 100, 000 each to the victims' families while Rs 300, 000 each under the federal government compensation package.
The previous day, Political Agent Shahid Ali Khan also visited the residence of two victims and gave them compensation amount beside food items.
He also announced that the administration would bear the educational expenses of the children. One of these families including, Zain Haider whose father was killed in the blast while their mother died a month ago. The Parachinar suicide blast had killed 22 people and injured 100 others.
