Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived here on a three-day visit to hold talks with Pakistani leadership on issues of mutual interests, regional and international issues. The visiting Palestinian President is accompanied by a 17-member delegation, including five ministers. Upon his arrival at Noor Khan Airbase here, President Abbas was accorded a warm welcome by President Mamnoon Hussain and was also given 21 guns salute.
Minister for States and Frontier Regions Lieutenant General Abdul Qadir Baloch (retd) and other senior civil and military officials were also present at the airbase to receive the visiting dignitary. During his visit, the Palestinian President will have a one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif followed by delegation-level talks.
