A private South Korean crushing mill purchased 165,000 tonnes of soyabeans to be sourced from Brazil in a tender which closed on Tuesday, European traders said on Wednesday. The soyabeans can contain genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) and were bought in three 55,000 tonne consignments for April/June shipment, traders said.
The first consignment for shipment from Brazil between April 10-30 was purchased at a premium of 122.35 US cents c&f over the Chicago May soyabean contract.
