The Punjab Agriculture Minister Naeem Akhtar Bhabha has strongly criticized Sindh government for not sharing the revived subsidy on fertilizer and said this delay on it part is equal to economic murder of the growers. In a statement issued here Saturday, he said that the PPP claims to be the champion of growers' rights but now denying them subsidy on fertilizer it was ruining them.
He said in Punjab the government tried its best not to shift any negative impact on farmers after announcement of withdrawal of this subsidy. The Chief Minister Punjab also took this issue immediately with the federal government for revival of this subsidy. He claimed sufficient fertilizer was available in stock in Punjab and dealers are selling that on subsidized rates.
