Bohri malfua, Ingredients:
-- Suji (semolina) 1/2 or 3/4 cups
-- Atta 1 cup
-- Sugar (enough to sweeten)
-- 1 egg
-- Water to soak in for semi-thick consistency
Method:
-- Soak suji, atta and sugar in water overnight for semi thick consistency.
-- Add egg and whisk in the morning before frying.
-- Take oil in frying pan, heat, take ladle and pour till a circle of batter -- -- forms in frying pan when golden brown turn side when both sides are golden brown it is ready to eat relish with balai mixed with honey.
Bohri Laosi
Ingredients:
-- Rice 1/2 kg
-- Jaggery (gur) 1 pao or little above
-- Cardamom 3-4
Method:
-- Wash rice and cook till left little raw to be cooked on dum
-- Make chashni of jiggery.
-- Add cardamom to it.
-- Then pour chashni on rice and keep on low fire (dum) uptil rice is cooked.
-- Eat with daal and salad.
Mango fiesta
Ingredients:
-- Mangoes 3
-- Sugar 1 cup
-- Milk 1 liter
-- Balai 1/4 cup
Method:
-- Mix diced mangoes with sugar milk and balai. You can adjust sugar according to taste.
Stewed lychee
Ingredients:
-- Lychee 1/2 cup
-- Sugar enough for syrup
-- Cream 1/4 cup
Method:
-Boil lychee in sugar till syrup forms. Allow to cool.
-Add cream and enjoy as dessert.
