The Karachi Eat Food Festival was organised to the joys of fun and food loving Karachiites this year also but the food-crazy people of this city of lights enjoyed their much awaited food festival with a delay of a week due to heavy rain in the city.
From innovative gourmet chefs to our street vendors' delights you can have anything you crave for at the fourth edition of this food festival. It was a food galore for the foodies where an astonishing array of food was enjoyed by Karachiites in lovely cool weather.
Each item was prepared not only to tease the taste buds of the people but also give wholesome nutritional value to the food they eat by using quality products.
The festival gave opportunity to people to enjoy delicious food with friends and family in a relaxing environment.
Hence it became the best place to spend the weekend with friends and family as it brought together the city's rich food diversity to all. Showcasing the best of eateries the venue had transformed into a foodie wonderland.
During the three days the festival celebrated the diverse variety of foods the city has to offer from the most talented chefs to the street side vendors. Every stall provided the potential customers with a chance to taste the ultimately delicious goodness of the food they offered.
The pleasant smell of cuisine ranging from savoury items to sweet ones spread all over Frere Hall with a wide range of food stalls. Many eateries drew customers by selling their signature menu items. You can choose from succulent parmesan chicken to scrumptious bun kababs and gol gappas. To satisfy your sweet tooth there were choux pastries, gourmet chocolate shakes, brownies and cupcakes.
People were enjoying a bowl of noodles to kabab rolls and chapli kebab while others took delight in having soup, pasta, chicken wings and special burger with French fries. Fish and chips attracted many to munch on along with cheese sandwiches, lemonade or coffee, tea and cold drink.
To the delight of people their favourite restaurants where they prefer to dine in has offered the discounted prices but in slightly smaller helpings so that everyone could try little bit of everything. The menu of different stalls offered regular and creative dishes that focus on taste as well as quality ingredients. The three-day festival offered the full diversity of food that the city of lights has to offer. There was variety of different participants including top restaurants, corporate giants, celebrity chefs as well as home bakers.
