The profit after tax of Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) has increased to Rs 1,510.688 million in the quarter ended in December 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 500.911 million earned in the corresponding quarter in 2015. The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on Friday at Rawalpindi declared that the company's earning per share has increased to Rs 17.72 in the period under review against Rs 5.87 in the same quarter a year back.
On six months basis, the company's profit after tax increased to Rs 2.738 billion translated into earning per share of Rs 32.11 in the half year ended in December 31, 2016 as compared to PAT of Rs 1.029 billion with EPS of Rs 12.07 in the same period in 2015.
