The profit after tax of Attock Petroleum Limited has increased to Rs 1,593.679 million in the quarter ended December 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 949.273 million in the corresponding quarter in 2015. The company's earning per share surged to Rs 19.21 in the period under review against Rs 11.44 in the same period a year back. The board of directors of the company in its meeting held at Rawalpindi on Friday recommended an interim cash dividend for the six months period ended December 31, 2016 at Rs 15.0 per share ie 150 percent.
For the six month period, the company's profit after tax increased to 3.156 billion translating into earning per share of Rs 38.06 in the six months period ended December 31, 2016 against PAT of Rs 1.640 billion with EPS of Rs 19.78 in the same period in 2015.
