Top seed and world No 66 Farhan Mehmood of Pakistan took berth into the semi-final along with three other players after recording victories in the quarter-finals of the ongoing National Senior Squash Championship being played here at PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex on Thursday.
It was an easy sailing for Farhan Mehboob who took just 34th minute to topple his younger brother Waqas Mehboob of PAF in straight sets, the score was 11-7, 11-7 and 11-6. Farhan Mehboob played well with some fine nick, drops and smashes were also enjoyed by capacity crowd present on this occasion. In the second match Israr Ahamd of SNGPL recorded victory against Faraz Muhammad of Navy by 11-7, 11-7 and 11-6. Israr fully dominated the proceeding and did not give many rooms to Faraz Muhammad of Navy to strike back.
