Panama's economy grew 4.64 percent in November compared with the same period a year earlier, spurred by public infrastructure projects, the government said on Tuesday. Construction, such as on the Panama City metro, Panama Canal and roads, as well as mining helped the economy, data from the national statistics office showed.
The government forecasts economic growth of 5.6 percent in 2016, down from a previous estimate of 6 percent.
