Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR), University Wah, held its fourth periodic meeting in University's Seminar Hall, Vice Chancellor University of Wah, Professor Dr Khaliq ur Rehman Shad SI (M), chaired the meeting. Principal Officers, Deans, Directors and senior faculty members were in attendance. Director R&D and General Manager POF Gudwal also attended the meeting as representatives of POFs.
The Board deliberated on launch of PhD degree programs in Departments of Biosciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Education.
Two years MBA and MS degree programs in Management Sciences, MS in Computer Sciences, MS in Civil, Chemical and Mechatronics Engineering programs were recommended, after necessary amendments, for submission to Academic Council and Board of Governors for final approval.
The Board also approved the research topics and GECs of post graduate students.-PR
