A 10-member gemstones trade delegation, led by the Director of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Sarir-ud-Din, has left for USA to participate in Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show at Tucson, Arizona. A TDAP statement said Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show, scheduled from January 28 to February 12, 2017, at Tucson, USA.
Tucson show is one of the oldest, unique, prestigious and the largest gem and minerals show in the world. There are currently over 30 independently owned and operated shows held almost simultaneously during the Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show, with over 3,000 exhibitors city-wide. Exhibitors, buyers, visitors, from all over the world attend/participate in this show.
The USA is the second largest importer of precious and semiprecious stones in the world. The overall trade of USA in precious and semiprecious stones was more than US $47 billion in year 2015.-PR
