Speakers at an awareness seminar on "Introduction of CPEC and its benefits to Sindh," said that completion of mega projects under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would open new vistas of rapid progress and prosperity in Sindh like other provinces of the country. Under the CPEC, the Sindh government would be able to complete mega projects like Thar-Coal Power, Karachi to Hyderabad Motorway (M-9), Matiari-Lahore Power Transmission Line, Windmill Power Keti Bandar, Karachi Circular Railway and up-gradation of main railway lines, they said.
The awareness seminar was organised here at Government Girls Zubaida College Hyderabad. It was the series of seminars arranged by the Directorate of Colleges Hyderabad at different colleges of the district during current week. Around 600 students of the college attended the seminar where the teachers Professor Mubeena Akhtar and Professor Kalsoom samoon and students Ms Aqeela Ghulam Muhammad and Ms Paras Bano highlighted the key components of the CPEC to be completed in Sindh.
They termed the CPEC, a game changer in the region and said that the mega development projects would not only strengthen the infrastructure of the country but also help in overcoming the issue of unemployment by creating scoreless job opportunities for youth which ultimately improve the socio-economic condition of the people.
The Director Colleges Professor Imam Ali Mirza who was the chief guest of the seminar appreciated the college management particularly the teachers and students who highlighted the benefits which would get by Sindh under CPEC the future builders of the nation could be aware of the benefits of CPEC.
