Islampura police booked three lawyers for misbehaving with additional district & sessions judge in open court and ransacking his chamber. A full bench of the Lahore High Court while proceeding with a complaint of the judge here Tuesday summoned the lawyers on January 31. The police had registered a case on the complaint of the aggrieved judge, Irfan Anjum against Barrister Eihtesham Ameeruddin, Mehar Ahsan and Inam under terrorism and other criminal charges.
According to the details the lawyers had appeared before the judge to plead a petition and sought a direction for police to register a case.
During the arguments, Barrister Ameeruddin got infuriated and started shouting at the judge. The lawyers also followed the judge to his retiring room too and allegedly manhandled him and ransacked the furniture.
