The Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has said that Sindh Government was creating awareness in the province regarding upcoming census in the country. Talking to the media during visits to different villages in Jamshoro district on Sunday, Shah told that all the concerned officials and staff had been warned that negligence would not be tolerated.
He said for last 9 years the government of Pakistan Peoples Party had served the people of Sindh and added that the groundwork for the upcoming general elections was also being done.
The CM Sindh said his party was gaining popularity in Punjab once again which had added to the anxiety of political opponents.
Responding to a question about the security situation, the CM said the law and order had improved in Karachi but the operation would continue until the menace of terrorism was eradicated.
On the issue of registration of seminaries, the CM informed that a list of seminaries had been submitted to the Federal Interior Minister but a reply from the federal government was yet to come. Replying to a question, he said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) has been rejected by the people of Sindh adding that the PTI has no standing in Sindh.
He reiterated the demand for acceptance of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's 4 points given to the federal government.
