Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) is holding a training camp as a part of preparations of Pakistan blind cricket team for participation in the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup being played in India from January 31 to February12, this year. Training camp would be held in Lahore from January 16 to 26, a spokesman of PBCC said, here Thursday.
Pakistan, India, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh and Nepal are participating in the mega tournament. In the opening match at New Delhi, India will face West Indies. The final of the event will be staged in Bangalore. The spokesman further said visa applications are being submitted and hoped that Pakistani blind players would get visas in time.
