Fire erupted in a wood Godown in old Haji camp area in the wee hours of Monday. However, no loss of life was reported. The blaze engulfed two more adjacent Godowns, triggering fear and panic among the property owners and area residents. Fire fighters and rescue teams rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after hours-long rescue operation. Six fire tenders took part in the process. The residents were later evacuated to avoid any human loss. The cause of fire could not be ascertained till filing of this report.
