The business community of Southern Punjab was optimistic that Pakistan and Bosnia will explore new areas of co-operation, besides co-operation in power generation, trade, business and investment sectors. Business community termed the visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to Bosnia as successful, detailed and constructive. President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi said that Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia Dr Denis Zvizdic is very nice person who wants to develop bilateral trade ties with Pakistan.
He discussed feasibility of co-operation, potential, exchange of trade delegations, joint venture and other possibilities. Roomi said that it was a good augury that the Bosnian prime minister agreed on setting up a joint commission that would help to identify the potential in various sectors and find ways to explore these further. He expressed satisfaction that a delegation of Pakistani businessmen and entrepreneurs would be visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina soon to boost co-operation.
