Punjab University has won title of third All Pakistan HEC Inter University Women Hockey Championship 2016-17 played here at Johar Town Hockey Stadium. The final was played between Punjab University and Lahore College for Women University. Punjab University won the title by 1-0 maintaining its position at the top. Left in Aqsa scored the final goal.
The championship was organized by Punjab University Women Sports Department in which as many as eight teams took part. Shahbaz Ahmad Sr. Secretary Pakistan Hockey Federation was Chief guest and distributyed prizes among the players.
