TEVTA to train 75,000 female next year

Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) has trained 38000 female youth in employable trades during one year while 75000 female will be given training in employable trades during next year. Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said this on Friday while addressing a meeting to review the progress regarding launching of courses for females. He also said that unemployed female youth of province of the Punjab has become part of skilled manpower.
These employable courses will be beneficial for the bright future of females which includes industrial stitching, beautician, kitchen helper, cooking, AutoCAD, Certificate in Computer Application, Web Designing and Spoken English courses. Nearly, 75000 female will be given training in employable trades during next year. Irfan Qaiser said that all these efforts are being made on the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to become skilful person of unemployed youth including female of the province of the Punjab.
He also said that at present beautician sector has taken prominent place in the job market. TEVTA is introducing beautician and other female related professional courses so that they may get job or start their own business after completion their training. In addition to short courses, TEVTA is also offering regular courses for females so that they may become useful citizen of the society.
