Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD), Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has said that 34 dead bodies of PIA plane crash (PK-661) victims have been identified. Talking to media here on Wednesday outside Pakistan Institute of Medical Science (PIMS) after attending funeral prayers of the deceased people, he said that the government will provide all assistance to the relatives of the victims.
The minister said that the identification of rest of the dead bodies will be completed in the next two days. He said that Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has already announced financial compensation for the heirs of plane crash victims. To a question, he said that investigation of plane crash is under way and would be made public, once completed. The minister said that all the dead bodies were moved to Rawat cold storage to facilitate forensic teams under one roof.
