Media reports regarding an incidence of fire on a PIA aircraft at Jeddah airport are not correct. In fact there was some problem due to which generator of the aircraft shut down. After this, as per standard procedure, the aircraft was parked back at the bay. The flight PK-740 would be operated after the rectification of defect.
