Harvard University on Wednesday launched Benazir Bhutto Leadership Program (BBLP), an initiative for the people assuming leadership posts in Muslim countries. The program was started by social welfare service organisation Class Achieving Change Together (Class ACT HR73) which was formed by class fellows of slain Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Benazir Bhutto at Harvard University. The organisation mainly focuses on empowering women, ranging from Lebanon to Bangladesh at first priority.
The women will then be expected to return to their homeland to implement their learning in different fields including politics, public or private organisations to bring positive change. The first session of the program would be started during the fall of 2018.
