On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,002. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.03 billion and the number of lots traded was 17,393. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.69 billion, followed by crude oil amounting to PKR 1.14 billion, gold PKR 1.06 billion, silver PKR 113.54 million, copper PKR 20.89 million and cotton PKR 4.87 million.
