The funeral prayer of Frontier Corps Balochistan's personnel, who were martyred yesterday, was offered in FC headquarters, Quetta on Sunday. Corps Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Aamir Riaz, the Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Sher Afgun and other military officials attended the funeral prayer. Two paramilitary soldiers and a policeman were killed in firing by militants in Quetta.
The shooting was claimed by the Al-Alami faction of the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) group, according to a statement released by a spokesman.
