Urs ceremonies of Data Ganj Bakhsh begin

The three-day Urs ceremonies of Hazrat Ali bin Usman Ali Hajveri, known as Data Ganj Bakhsh began in Lahore on Saturday. Finance Minister, Senator Ishaq Dar and Punjab Food Minister Bilal Yasin laid wreath on the shrine. Punjab government has made foolproof security arrangements for the devotees attending Urs and free parking facility has also been provided.
Talking to newsmen on this occasion, Ishaq Dar said "Teachings and ideology of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh and Allama Muhammad Iqbal are enough to bring peace, prosperity and solidarity in the country." He said that, "With the grace of Almighty Allah, Pakistan will be in much better position in 2018 than 2016." The Minister expressed satisfaction over fool proof security arrangements for the Urs.
