Pakistan Army shot down an Indian quadcopter along the Line of Control (LoC) at Aagahi Post in Rakhchakri sector on Saturday evening, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). In a message through Twitter, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Asim Bajwa said that the Indian quadcopter was shot down in Rakhchakri Sector. The Indian unmanned surveillance copter had intruded 60 meters in Pakistani side of Line of Control. Bajwa said the quadcopter was brought down over violation of Pakistan's territorial integrity and that it has been "taken over" by Pakistani forces.
Earlier in the day, the unprovoked firing by the Indian forces in Khuiratta Sector led to the martyrdom of four people, including three children. According to the ISPR, four-year-old Riba, seven-year-old Faiza, eight-year-old Shazia and 16-year-old Shehzad were martyred during Indian firing in Khuiratta sector. Another civilian, 24-year-old Mehmood, got injured due to the Indian firing. Condemning the incident, Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria sympathised with the bereaved families and also prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
Indian forces, once again, resorted to unprovoked firing across the Line of Control (LoC) at Khuiratta, Bhimber and Chakothi sectors near Muzaffarabad. Pakistan Army gave a befitting response to the aggression and targeted Indian posts.
AFP adds: On Friday, Pakistan's navy said it had pushed an Indian submarine away from Pakistani waters, as tensions between the nuclear-armed rivals continue to smoulder over unrest in the disputed Kashmir region.
INP adds: Meanwhile, defence Minister of India has confessed that 13 Indian soldiers were killed in exchange of firing with Pakistani troops on the day seven Pakistani soldiers were martyred. Before this statement, India has not revealed the deaths of its soldiers.
CoAS Raheed Shareef has recently said that India knows what Pakistan is capable of, because of fear India is hiding the deaths of its soldiers. After which the defense minister of India revealed the number of deceased soldiers. Defense Minister of India said that he is highly concerned over the statement of CoAS of Pakistan. He said that "13 of our soldiers were killed but we did not give any statement regarding any vengeance against Pakistan." He further said that violation of ceasefire if done by Pakistani soldiers, the statement of General Raheel Sharif is unbearable and is synonymous to war.
