On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,975. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.24 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,747. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 2.109 billion, followed by gold PKR 2.100 billion, crude oil PKR 912.82 million, silver PKR 102.57 million, copper PKR 14.01 million and cotton PKR 6.44 million.
