Mochi Gate incident: CTD arrests suspects

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed on Friday to have detained nine terrorists involved in October 26 incident of Mochi Gate. It claimed that the accused were also involved in sectarian killings in Lahore in the 90s. A boy had died while six of his family members were injured when the explosive material went off and roof of the double-storey house collapsed in Mochi Gate.
The 22-marla building consisted of four residences and belonged to four brothers. A total of 22 people were living there. The Rescue officials had recovered six people, including a woman from the debris.
