Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Friday noted a 'clear change' in the stance of the government with regard to offshore companies owned by the children of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, saying it was a sign of the nervousness on part of the ruling PML-N and its 'courtiers'. In this connection, PTI Chairman Imran Khan chaired a top-level party meeting here. The forum took stock of the matter and other key national issues. The leadership is meeting every day to review the fast-paced developments on the national scene.
The meeting observed that ruling party leaders openly told lies before the media regarding the Panama Leaks while sought more and more time from the Supreme Court. It was also noted if members of Sharif family had answers to PTI questions, they would have already responded and hence, they never responded even on the date of hearing, they themselves sought time from the apex court.
The PTI leadership also deliberated upon the alleged government bid to malign the army through leaking a fake story to a newspaper by their 'courtiers.' The meeting asserted that the nation had already rejected the probe committee formed to look into the matter.
