CEIF announces Executive Learning Programme

IBA Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance (IBA-CEIF) has announced an introductory level Executive Learning Programme on "Fundamentals of Islamic Finance". The four-day introductory level Executive Learning Programme will be conducted from the November 29 to December 2, 2016 at the IBA City Campus. The programme will develop an understanding of the modes of Islamic Finance and how they are applicable in the modern day financial system.
The course enriched with case studies and practical exercises, aims at providing a rich learning experience to the participants, which will equip them with the required skills to explore the growing field of Islamic banking & Finance. Learning Outcomes of the programme is how to understand the essential Shariah Principles related to Islamic Business, Banking & Finance. Assess how Islamic Banks operate in today's world and comprehend their differences with Conventional Banks and understand the structure, regulatory environment and governance framework of Modarabas. In addition, analyse major Islamic Finance modes for asset and liability of financial institutions and identify risks in the Islamic Finance Institutions is part of learning programme. The risks associated with different modes of Islamic Finance Modarabas and Islamic Banks will also be discussed in the programme.
