Breaking his silence on the appointment of new Governor of Sindh, Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday said that former Justice Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui was appointed without even a courtesy call to Ishratul Ibad and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is trying to preserve his 'badshahat', Bilawal tweeted.
The message was posted few hours after former chief justice of Pakistan Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui took oath as Governor Sindh in Karachi on Friday. The oath was administered by Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Syed Sajjad Ali Shah. The decision to remove Ishratul Ibad from Sindh Governor's post and replace him with Saeed-uz-Zaman was taken during a meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain on November 9.
