Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah on Wednesday said that victory of US Donald Trump in US presidential election would bring a big change across the world. Talking to media at his chamber, Shah said that the whole world including Pakistan has to review its foreign policy. "The upset in US presidential election will not only affect America but it will also influence the world," he remarked.
"There is confusion in our foreign policy and we need a permanent foreign minister," he said, adding that we failed in highlighting our issues including exposing dirty face of India at international forum due to feeble foreign policy. He lambasted the government saying that Nawaz Sharif could not unmask India's evil face before the world even after the arrest of Kulbhushan Yadav, a serving agent of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
He said that opposition parties had already demanded of the government to appoint a permanent foreign minister. "I feel that the PML-N government has no competent person who can be appointed as foreign minister," he said.
Shah deplored that PTI did not attend the meeting of Senate Standing Committee on Law and Justice. He said that Opposition must play its role in the Parliament. He recalled that PTI Chairman Imran Khan joined the Parliament even after using indecent language against it. "Imran Khan has neither parliamentary experience nor of politics, that is why he does not understand the importance of Parliament," he added.
