Women's team to take part in International Carrom Federation Cup

For the first time Pakistan Women Carrom team will participate in the International Carrom Tournament to be held from 7 to 11 October 2015 in New Dehli, India. In this regard, Pakistan Women's Carrom training camp has started to for the training of expected players, which will be participate in the upcoming international carrom tournament, said Murtaza Khan Secretary General of Pakistan Carrom Federation said. Presently some 12 women players have been selected for the training camp, which will continue for two months, he added.
All the women players perform well in All Karachi women carrom championship held in Kashmir sports complex with collaboration of sky fighter's sports club 3 months ago. Besides woman, Pakistan Men's carrom team will also participate in International Carrom Federation Cup. There will be more than 20 countries participated, Murtaza Khan said to the reporters. International Carrom Player and coach Muhammad Amil, Nazim Uddin and Ramzan Ali will train the Women's players till 1st October. Murtaza Khan said that Pakistan carrom federation is very keen to promote the game in Pakistan and we will more organise School and Collage Carrom event in the Future While at the moment, Ayesha Ayub, Sabuhi Ijaz, Nabila Banu, Anum Saeed, Iqra Saeed, Mariam Ijaz, Batool Kazim, Anila Khan, Iffat Batool, Sameera Marven, Shabnam Hayat and Tahira invited in the National camp.-PR
