Japan's crude imports tumble to 50-year low for month of June

Japan's total oil product sales in June fell 8.8 percent from a year ago to 2.46 million bpd, reflecting a dwindling population and the introduction of more efficient vehicles.

Japan imported Angsi crude last month from Malaysia for the first time since September 2014, a METI official said.
