Those arrested include former district account officer Chillas and current Deputy Account General Nadeem Ahmed and account officer of Accountant General Gilgit Baltistan, Riaz Ahmed.
A NAB statement said the arrest people are involved in embezzlement of national money released in irrigation head during 2012-2015
The statement further said that both the officers misused their power and with the help of officers of Diamir Irrigation Department caused losses of rupees 20.48 million to national exchequer.
The NAB presented both the accused before the NAB court which allowed physical remand of them.
The NAB has already arrested three officers of the Irrigation Department Diamir for causing loss to national kitty.
