Karachi likely to receive rain this week
After bearing heatwave and severe temperature, Karachi may receive its first rain this week as the monsoon season approaches.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the port city is expected to receive rain on Thursday with the predictions of occasional thunderstorm. Meanwhile, the weather will remain partly cloudy with the maximum temperature hitting at 36°C. The minimum temperature is expected to waver between 34°C and 35°C.
Whereas, across the country, hot and dry weather is expected for the next three days. Islamabad and Lahore's weather will remain hot with the temperature at 40°C. However, isolated places in Multan, Bannu, D.I.Khan, D.G.Khan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Larkana, Sukkur, Sh.Benazirabad, Kalat divisions and Kashmir are expected to witness rain-thundershower along with gusty winds.
