ISLAMABAD: The Mutahidda Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) on Monday announced its two candidates for contesting the three National Assembly seats of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

MAA ICT President Maulana Abdul Rauf told media-persons that the five-party alliance had awarded tickets for NA 53 and NA 54 to Mian Muhammad Aslam and for NA 52 to Raja Bilal Faisal.

He said the MMA enjoyed widespread support of the people from all walks of life and it would steer the country out of crises after winning the general election.

He urged the residents of federal capital to prefer Mian Muhammad Aslam, who was a local while candidates, who belonged to other cities, did not understand the problems of local people.

Malik Abdul Aziz, candidate for NA 52, and Qari Sohail Abbasi, candidate for NA 53, announced withdrawal of their nomination papers in favour of MMA candidates.
