Three companies qualify for Pakistan LNG tender

SINGAPORE: Three companies have qualified for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) buy tender issued by Pakistan LNG, according to a notice issued by the company and reviewed by Reuters on Wednesday.

Gunvor International, Vitol Bahrain and Trafigura have "technically qualified" for the tender that seeks six LNG cargoes for delivery over July to August, the notice stated.

Pakistan LNG, a subsidiary of state-owned Government Holdings, said it received 11 bids in total.

The three companies' commercial proposals will be opened later on Wednesday, according to the notice.
