Musharraf not returning today despite SC order
The Supreme Court (SC) was informed on Thursday by Secretary-General All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Dr Mohammad Amjad Chaudhry that former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf will not be returning to Pakistan.
Even though APML's tweets earlier had suggested that the former president was all set to land in Pakistan as preparations were in the last stages, the SC was informed that Musharraf will not be returning today, local media reported.
The APML and Dr Chaudhry also thanked the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar for giving opportunity to Musharraf to return back.

On Wednesday, the CJP had given a day's time till 2pm (Thursday) to Musharraf to appear before the court.
The top court is hearing Musharraf’s appeal against the Peshawar High Court’s verdict in disqualifying him in 2013. Court proceedings are in process regarding the case of imposition of extra-constitutional emergency by Musharraf in 2007.
