Efforts for conducting free and fair elections: CM Balochistan

QUETTA: Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan Alauddin Marri Tuesday said that it was responsibility of caretaker government to take all possible measures for conducting free and fair elections in the province.

Welcoming the new elected caretaker cabinet members he said that government's major concern was to increase the voting turnout during the general election, across the province.

He said caretaker government would take all possible measures for conducting general election 2018 in a peaceful and pleasant environment.

The Caretaker CM said he was fully cognizant of the public issues and assured to resolve the problems within his constitutional powers.

He said the caretaker cabinet had a lot of responsibility on its shoulders to serve the citizens, and that all government institutions could continue their work without interruption.

The Chief Minister said that new nominated caretaker cabinet members would be allotted ministries soon.

He said preparations for general election continued and he would soon visit divisional headquarters for reviewing the election preparations.

On the occasion, the nominated ministers assured chief minister of their cooperation and that they would play a vital role for maintaining peace, transparent elections and in keeping government machinery active.
